Yes. VoteChain is available on iOS and Android so members can vote from anywhere. The web app works on all modern browsers as well.

You can create yes/no votes, multiple-choice polls, ranked-choice ballots, weighted votes, and many more. Each type can be configured with quorum thresholds and deadlines.

Yes. When creating a ballot the organiser can enable anonymous mode so that individual choices are never revealed — only the aggregate result is published.

By default, results are published automatically once the voting window closes. Organisers can also choose to reveal results in real-time as votes come in.

If a ballot has a quorum requirement and not enough members participate, the vote is recorded as inconclusive. The organiser can then extend the deadline or start a new round.

Only if the organiser has enabled vote editing for that ballot. When allowed, you can update your choice any time before the deadline.

All data is encrypted in transit with TLS. Access controls ensure only authorised community members can view or participate in ballots.

Every ballot records a tamper-evident history of events — creation, voter participation timestamps, and result publication — so outcomes can be independently verified.

Data is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure with automated backups. We follow industry-standard practices for data protection and access management.

Yes. You can request full account deletion from your profile settings. We will remove your personal data in accordance with POPIA and other applicable privacy legislation.

Yes. The free plan lets you create a community and run basic votes with a limited number of members. Upgrade any time for higher limits and advanced features.

Absolutely. Plan changes take effect immediately and billing is adjusted pro rata so you only pay for what you use.

We accept major credit and debit cards. Enterprise customers can arrange invoice-based billing through our sales team.

You can cancel from the billing section of your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Each community supports owner, admin, and member roles. Owners and admins can create votes and manage members, while members participate and view results.

Yes. A single account can own or belong to multiple communities. Switch between them from the dashboard without logging out.

The current owner can transfer ownership to another admin from the community settings page. The new owner receives full control once they accept.

Yes. Community settings let you limit vote creation to admins only, or open it to all members — whichever suits your governance rules.
